As part of our commitment to supporting early-career scholars, JAWS provides opportunities for graduate students and early postdoctoral researchers to connect with experienced academics for one-on-one mentoring sessions. These sessions aim to foster academic growth, build networks, and provide career advice in a supportive environment. Participants are encouraged to exchange papers with their assigned mentors prior to the conference to discuss their research and gain constructive feedback.
How to Apply:
If you are interested in participating in a tutorial or mentoring session, please email the Secretary General of JAWS, Professor Ofra Goldstein-Gidoni (ofrag@tauex.tau.ac.il), by February 28 (Friday), 2025. Your email should include:
- Your abstract (as submitted for the JAWS/AJJ Conference in Hyogo).
- A short statement outlining your goals and what you hope to gain from the mentoring session.
Professor Goldstein-Gidoni will then work to match you with a suitable mentor. Thank you very much.
